Micah Carpenter, 36 years old, passed away on July 15th, 2014 in Fort Collins, CO. Micah was born in Wheatridge, CO on November 17th, 1977 to Michael and Kathy Carpenter. He grew up in Grand Junction, CO where he graduated from Mesa State College with an Associate's Degree is Manufacturing Technology. After exploring the last frontier in Alaska, Micah made his home in Fort Collins, where he met the love of his life, Ryan Corley, in 2005, and they were married on June 2nd, 2006.

Micah is survived by his wife, Ryan Corley; mother, Kathy Barboe; sisters, Michaela Wells and Chandra Barboe; brothers-in-law, Dave Wells and Brian Barboe; grandmother, Vernelle Carpenter; uncle, Gary Carpenter; aunt, Michele Carpenter; cousins, Zack, Susan, Keira, and Kylie Carpenter; niece, Acacia Wells; nephews, David Wells and Gavin Barboe;

Micah was preceded in death by his father Michael Alan Carpenter and grandfather Noel Carpenter.

Micah loved to play, he was a little boy in a man's body. He loved hockey and football, especially the Pittsburgh Penguins and San Francisco 49ers. He enjoyed playing with his dogs and cat, making sure his lawn was perfect, playing video games, watching movies, biking, hiking, playing with toys,drinking iced tea and driving his brand new Toyota. He loved the snow and got so excited when the first flakes fell. He knew how to make people smile and laugh, and was always willing to help out a friend in need.

Micah left us too soon, and his death should not be in vain. Let it teach us all to reach out to the ones who love us when we are in need. Not only is it important to be there for others, but to let others be there for you. Help is always available, even when things seem hopeless.
