Michael A. Harris, 67, passed peacefully on Friday, March 14,2014at home with his beloved cats nearby.
Michael was born July 19, 1947 in Mansfield, Ohio. He graduated Mansfield High School in 1965. Shortly after he enlisted in the Marine Corps and served in Viet-Nam, suffering serious injury. Michael was a Purple Heart recipient.
He retired from the US postal Service, where he not only walked his route, but also served tirelessly in the NALC, in many different capacities.
He will be remembered fondly by family, friends, coworkers and those on his route. A remembrance celebration will be held Sunday, March 30,2014 at 11:00, at the American Legion, 2124 County Rd 54G,FTC.
