Michael Dean Manville, 73, passed away in Fort Collins, CO on August 5th, 2024, after a protracted struggle with symptoms of advanced Parkinson's disease. He was loved and is survived by his sister, Mindy Manville, and his niece, Lindsay Manville-Wiebe, of Davis, CA; devoted first cousins, Leebett Calar, Jim Jordan and Renee Smith of Casper, WY, Casey Bauer of Sandy, Utah, and Georgia Jordan of Spring Creek, NV.

Michael was born October 22nd, 1950, in Temple, TX, to parents Robert D. Manville, of Bayard, IA, and Marian Robertson Manville, of Aurora, CO. Michael attended local schools in Casper, WY and graduated with honors from Kelly Walsh High School in 1969. He earned a scholarship to attend Denver University, from which he graduated in 1975. He later earned a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan University in St. Louis, MO, and practiced in Iowa as well as the cities of Denver, Loveland, and Fort Collins in Colorado.

Michael was a kind soul, a talented student, and an excellent writer, composer, poet, and pianist. He believed in clean food and turned his family farm into a profitable organic concern. He had been recently working on a screenplay and setting the sonnets of Shakespeare to music he composed. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Following a memorial in Fort Collins, Michael will be inurned at Highland Cemetery in Bayard, IA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael's name would be gratefully accepted to the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
