Nancy passed away of natural causes at the grand old age of 98, with family by her side, the morning of May 27th, in Fort Collins, CO.
Nancy Kerr Adams was born in Springfield, MO, growing up in Tulsa, OK with parents Robert H and Mildred Kerr, and three rambunctious brothers on a small farm on South Yale.
At Tulsa University, with a Masters in Communication, she managed the radio station.
She met Craig Ramsey and they set their sights on New York City, where Nancy led a studio for an ad agency and Craig worked for NBC. Their daughter Kim was born in 1952. They moved on to Denver and on to Colorado Springs CO to open an advertising agency. They raised Kim, Shelley and Jim on La Veta Way, across from the new Cheyenne Mountain High School. Nancy was a member of Broadmoor Community Church from the start.
In 1976, Nancy became an Operations Manager and Account Executive for Merrill Lynch – She retired as an Assistant Vice President after 15 years with over 700 clients in Southern California, retiring on her 65th birthday to homes in Laguna Sur, Indian Wells, CA and on to Fort Collins, CO. She was a prolific painter, tennis and bridge player, always with a smile and a kind word for everyone she met.
She is survived by her daughter Shelley Kerr (Dave Cummings), son Jim Ramsey (Jayne Candea-Ramsey), five grandsons Nick Ramsey, Kyle Ramsey, Eric Meyer (Carolyn), Pat Meyer (Emily), Chris Meyer (Kelley) and four great- grandchildren. Kim Ann Ramsey (Mark Meyer) passed away in 2020 in Fort Collins CO, having raised a remarkable and loving family.
