Norbert Albert Grona Iii

Norbert "Nobby" Albert Grona III, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at his home in Loveland, Colorado. Nobby was born January 19, 1960 to parents Norbert A. Grona Jr and Sandra Grona in Hobbs, New Mexico. After graduating from Bloomfield High School, Nobby met the love of his life, Sharon, overseas in Algeria. Nobby and Sharon moved to Odessa, Texas in 1981 and married that following year on January 8, 1982. They welcomed their first child, Norbert IV, in January 1984. A few years later their family grew and they welcomed their second child, Nicole, in November 1987.

Nobby was a dedicated employee of Halliburton for over 29 years. He then became a Frac Consultant for 5 years before retiring.

Nobby loved traveling with his family and spending time with his grandkids. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. He enjoyed woodworking and throwing the ball for his dog Lacey in his free time. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and loved to make everyone around him laugh.

Nobby is survived by his wife, Sharon Grona, his children, Norbert A. Grona IV and his spouse Mandy Grona, and Nicole Najera and her spouse Zack Najera, as well as his grandchildren, Norbert A. Grona V, Kolby Grona, Dylan Najera, & Landyn Najera, his father Norbert A. Grona Jr and mother Sandra Grona, his siblings, June Kopmann and her spouse Dale Kopmann, Cindy Blockovich and her spouse Mark Blockovich, Robert Grona, Patricia Grona, Kelley Willems and her spouse Dave Willems, sister in law Debra Johnston, in laws Robert and Louise Shelton, multiple nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Lacey.

A service will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, Texas on November 10, 2023 at 10:00 am.
