Norma Pecora

It is with heavy hearts and love that we announce the passing of NORMA MAE PECORA, of FORT COLLINS, CO, who left us on June 3, 2026, just one week shy of her 91st birthday.

Born on June 10, 1935, Norma lived a life defined by extraordinary resilience. Though she navigated her share of hardships, she never let the roughness of life diminish her spirit. Instead, she emerged with grace, strength, and elegance. To those who knew and loved her, Norma was the epitome of a lady. She will be forever remembered for her wardrobe and perfectly coordinated accessories, and the dignified way she carried herself in every room she entered.

To her family, she was a wonderful, nurturing soul and a deeply admired role model. Growing up, her nieces and nephews always looked up to her, not just for her fashion sense, but for the quiet strength and beauty she embodied. She leaves behind a legacy of perseverance and love.

She is survived by her nieces Mary Considine of Fort Collins, Colorado, Bonni (TJ) Christopher of Torrington, Wyoming and nephew Dean (Judy) Vincent of Johnstown, Colorado, and her nieces Karen Lilac, Linda Lilac and nephews Mark (Stephanie) Lilac and Owen (Roberta) Lilac of Pittsburgh, PA. Also her very special friend, Connie of Fort Collins, Colorado. We all will carry her memory in our hearts forever.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Vince Pecora, brother William Lilac, her sister Jean Vincent Chismar, her nephew Jay Lilac and her niece Nancy Lilac, nephew-in-law Dennis Considine. A celebration of Norma's life and enduring spirit will be held at a later date.
