Patricia Ann Bartling

Patricia A. "Pat" Bartling – 89 of Fort Collins, passed away on December 28, 2023. Born in Windsor on November 4, 1934 to Edwin and Hazel (nee Peterson) Foster, she graduated from Windsor High School, and married Irvin E. Bartling at the First United Methodist Church in Windsor in 1955. They never moved away from this area and celebrated 63 years together. Pat was self-employed for over 40 years. She worked hard and played hard. Pat absolutely loved the mountains! She enjoyed many miles with her family and informal hiking group. Pat loved spending her time outdoors by any means necessary, that included building a home and two cabins with Irv. As an artist, she usually carried her sketching pad or camera with her camping, fishing, hiking, motorcycle riding, horseback riding, skiing, snowshoeing, as well as water aerobics, playing badminton and bowling. In addition to the outdoors, Pat loved her friends, her pets, and her family. Preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Albert, Ralph "Bud", and Bob Foster. Survived by her children, Sharon (Kevin) Hopkins and Steve Bartling, a sister Barbara J. Davis, and sister-in-law, Eileen Foster. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Elder Pet Care.
