Patricia A. Falk-Feeley

Patricia Ann, 'Pat' or 'Patty' to her friends, was born in Glendale, California to Mark M. Falk and Christina 'Ina' Wilson on January 31, 1941. She was sister to Theresa 'Terry' (Nelson) and Jeanne (Petersen). She went in peace from this world on May 29, 2023 at Morningstar Assisted Living in Fort Collins, Colorado, after complications from a stroke, emphysema, and a long battle with dementia. Pat was surrounded by love, care, and compassion to the very end.

Pat attended and graduated from Santa Catalina School of Monterey, California, in the class of 1959, and Stanford University class of 1963 with an A.B. in International Relations. A long and fruitful career in publishing began at Sunset Magazine shortly after graduation, and grew into a career as writer, editor, and agent for government, publishing, magazines, and journalism. Her skills and passion saw her helm many books to publication, including the delightful 'Building and Flying Indoor Model Airplanes' by Ron Williams, and Marcella Hazan's 'The Classic Italian Cookbook.' She was also an author in her own right, with a wide range of subject and formats - including 'Perfect Needlepoint Projects from Start to Finish' with Kathy Archer, 'A Swarm of WASPs' and fiction thriller 'Best Friend.' Her later career included historic preservation, interior design, finish carpentry, and upon retirement a deeper love of gardening, cooking, knitting, knitwear design, and spending time with her beloved dogs.

She is survived by her daughter Mary and numerous dear friends from across the decades.
