Patricia Freytag

Patricia Freytag, age 73 of LaPorte, Colorado, formerly of Laramie, Wyoming died January 11, 2015. A viewing will be held Friday, January 16 beginning at 11:00 am with her funeral service to begin at 1:00 pm at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1065 N. 15th St., Laramie. Burial will be at Green Hill Cemetery, all in Laramie. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of the giver's choice.

Patricia Collene Gibbs was born on March 29, 1941 to Milton and Pauline Gibbs in Montrose, Colorado. Her first marriage to Robert Vance Briggs II was sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple. He died in 1965. She married Robert Freytag in 1966.

For most of Patricia's life, she was a homemaker and stay at home mom to her eleven children. She was also a Farmers wife, restaurant owner/cook and real estate agent. She was a very talented baker and cake decorator and made many wedding cakes & birthday cakes throughout her life for family and friends. She was an avid gardener, loved sewing, knitting and various other crafts.

She was a life long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and is currently a member of the Terry Lake Ward in Fort Collins.

Pat is survived by her eleven children, Kathy Freytag, Ben Freytag, Mike Freytag, Robert Briggs, Rosalie Freytag, Tresea Briggs, Cindy Clark, Kevin Briggs, Heather Freytag, Christine Freytag and Rick Freytag; eighteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Milton and Gordon Gibbs. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Vance Briggs; her second husband Robert Freytag; brother Jerry Gibbs; and one grandchild Bradley Briggs.
