d. Nov 4, 2025

Patricia Ann Green, age 83, passed away on November 4th, 2025 of pneumonia, at Pathways Hospice Center in Fort Collins, Colorado. She was born Patrica Ann Flaugh on August 2nd, 1942 in Franklin, PA to parents Sarah L. Connolly-Flaugh, and Lloyd G. Flaugh. She had one Brother, Dennis Flaugh. Growing up, Patricia enjoyed visiting her Aunt Helen Mortimer and Uncle William Connolly.

Patricia joined the Army in March of 1961, where she met and married Bernard Thurston Green. They had four children; Lisa Marie Green-Dawson, Tanis Emerald Green-Kennedy, Bonita Louise Green, and Bernard Thurston Green II. She also had eight Grandchildren, and three Great Grandsons, that she adored.

It was while she was in the Army as a Hospital Attendant that Patricia discovered her passion for taking care of the injured and sick. Once she left the Army, she pursued a Nursing career. She received her Practical Nurse License from Venango County School of Nursing in Oil City, PA. During her Nursing Career, she worked at the Oil City, PA and Franklin, PA Hospitals. Patricia went on to work for Polk State Center, in Polk, PA, caring for patients with severe disabilities, and retired from there.

Patricia was known for her witty sense of humor. She loved making her Grandchildren and friends at Residence at Oakridge laugh! She loved all genres of music, enjoyed plants and gardening, and watching sports with her Family. She also loved spending time with her oldest and dearest friend, Carol Clifford Russell of Oil City, PA. Patricia had a love of animals and had many fur babies over the years. She was an avid supporter of ASPCA / America Society for the Prevention of the Cruelty to Animals.

Ms. Green had a favorite picture hanging on her wall that read "A Woman's work is never done." Patricia, now your work is finally done, and you can rest in peace in Heaven with all your loved ones who passed before you.

Patricia's Family and Friends will have private memorials to honor her life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, please donate to ASPCA, or your local animal shelter, in her memory.
