Patricia Hogan

Patricia Hogan, age 90 of Fort Collins, formerly of Boulder, CO, died September 6th at the home of her caregiver, Polly Reich. Cremation is planned and a private family service will be held in Hawaii at a later date. Patricia Jean O'Neill was born September 15, 1919 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Orville and Lillian O'Neill. She married H. Clay Hogan on May 31, 1946 and together they had three children. They lived formerly in Denver and then to Boulder in the early 1950's. Clay owned and operated Boulder Taxi and later went into banking. Eventually, they owned and operated the Essex House Motel in Littleton. Over the years, she enjoyed horseback riding, skiing, tennis, golf and good friends. She was a member of the Boulder Country club for over fifty years. Patty is survived by her daughter, Holly (and husband, Mark) Trumble of Loveland; four grandchildren, Melissa Loprino, Shannon Hogan, Lynsay McLaughlin and Trevor Trumble; and six great-grandchildren, Shaylyn, Jordan, Megan, Cassidy, Caedon, Xander and Stella. She was preceded in death by her sons, Terrence Clay Hogan and Patrick Dion Hogan. The family requests that any memorial donations please be made, in lieu of flowers, to Hearts and Horses Therapeutic Riding Center, 163 N. C. R. 29, Loveland, CO 80537.
