Patricia Brownfield Hoyer passed in the evening on July 2, 2024. She is survived by her three children, eleven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Born on July 23, 1942, she lived a full and rich life and went to join Jesus as she approached the completion of 82 years of life.
In addition to her family legacy, she left a deep impact in the lives of many medical students and scientists through her tenured teaching career at the University of Arizona Physiology Department. She was also a 50 year member of PEO International. She left a lasting legacy and will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that any donations in her memory be made to the Kalos Art Foundation ( https://www.kalosarts.org/patriciahoyermemorial ). There will be a public memorial for her at 11:00 A.M. on August 5, 2024 at Faith Church, 3920 S. Shields St. Fort Collins, CO 80526. Requiescat in pace.
