Patrick Damone

Patrick Damone, 78, of Loveland passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017, surrounded by family. Born on October 7, 1939 in Queens, NY to Ralph and Catherine Damone, Patrick was the oldest of two sons. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force (1958 – 1962).

After a sales career in the garment industry in New York, Patrick and his wife joyfully retired in Colorado. Patrick enjoyed traveling, hiking, arts and culture, and animals. He was an exceptional man with a big heart, cared deeply for friends and family, had a quick wit, and enjoyed making others smile.

Patrick leaves behind his wife of 25 years, Antonina Damone, Loveland, CO; his daughter Susan Solo, New York City, NY; his son Scott Damone, Long Island, NY; his son Mark Damone, Palm Harbor, FL; his step son Mark Teplitsky, Fort Collins CO; his step son Alen Teplitsky, Forest Hills, NY; their respective spouses; eight grandchildren; his family and friends on the East Coast, England, and throughout the U.S.; and 2 adorable cats —who will all miss him greatly.

A memorial celebration will be held at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Parish, 1730 W. 12th St., Loveland, Colorado from 11:30 to 12:30 am on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, followed by military honors at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 3698 South Sheridan, Denver, Colorado at 2:15 pm.
