Paul Edwin Bachman

Paul E. Bachman passed away Sunday April 5,Easter Sunday, at the age of 79.
Paul was born in Ottumwa, Iowa on January 24, 1936, where at the time it was 6 degree below zero with 12 inches of snow on the ground. Paul had resided in Nebraska, Utah, California, Wyoming and Colorado. While Paul was a young man living in Longmont Colorado he worked in a small Mom and Pop Butcher Shop near his parents' house and learned to cut meat and be a butcher. Paul made his final residents in Fort Collins CO.

In August of 1954 he joined the Army and was stationed in Panama as an Airplane Frame Repairman. Paul was honorably discharged from the Army in July 1957.
When Paul returned to Colorado he enrolled in Colorado A&M College in September of 1957. Later on he attended the University of Colorado. After college he accepted a position with the IRS in Denver Colorado as an Appeals Officer; where he then stated "I finally get to practice law, without a license."

In the spring of 1983 he took a job in Cheyenne Wyoming with the IRS. After 36 years of employment with the IRS he retired.

On July 5, 1986 he married Mary Montoya. They were happily married for 29 years 9 months.
Paul decided he needed to keep busy so he went to work part time for the Colorado Courts system. Another job he also took on was being the President of their neighborhood HOA.

He is survived by his wife Mary Bachman, his three children, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by Mary's three children.
