Paul L. Kisselbach, 65, of Loveland, CO, formerly of East St. Louis, IL, died suddenly of heart failure Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at McKee Medical Center in Loveland. He was born on April 5, 1945, in East St. Louis, IL, to Paul J. and Jule Kisselbach. He graduated from East St. Louis Senior High School in 1964 where he played football, and attended Washburn University in Topeka, KS on a football scholarship. In 1984 Paul started Paul's Plumbing and Heating in Loveland. His family and employees will continue the business. He previously was a cafeteria manager and a pipe fitter, but for most of his life he worked as a plumber. He was a member of the Loveland and Ft. Collins Chamber of Commerce, served on the Loveland Construction Advisory Board and helped with Alternatives to Violence, Children's Miracle Network, Loveland Historical Society, and other local charitable groups. Paul married Sally Walker Olar on July 15, 1989 in Loveland. Survivors include his wife; son, Paul D. Kisselbach of Loveland; daughters, Ruth (Patrick) Brunner of Windsor, CO; and Kristin Olar of Loveland; sister, Carolyn (Charles) Foley of Ft. Worth, TX; brother, Calvin (Lisa) Kisselbach of Roodhouse, IL; grandchildren, Tobin Hood and Karlee Brunner, both of CO; niece, Linda (Dan) Wooten of LaGrange, GA; and nephew Paul (Mary) Foley of Ft. Worth, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial donations may be made to Alternatives to Violence, 313 E. 4th St., Loveland, CO 80537. A private service is being planned.
