Paul Octavio "Tavo" Norrigan III, 81, died on Saturday, July 17, 2021. He passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Medical Center of the Rockies. His Celebration of Life was held at 11 am on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Windsong Estate Event Center.
Paul was born in Mexico City on April 8, 1940 to Paul O. Norrigan II and Hermila Cruz. Paul's family was a vibrant mixture of Catholic and Jewish influences and practices.
Paul worked professionally at various aspects of the hospitality industry as Hotel Operations Manager with Bill Marriott, Nick Hilton, the Ramada Inn and other renowned chains. He was respected as a capable, energetic leader and "trouble-shooter" and also owned his own nightclubs. Later in life, Paul worked in the internet marketing industry until retirement.
Paul's loving compassion, energy and creative vision were reflected in his work and relationships, and they powered his life-long unfulfilled dream of building a town for orphaned children called Sherwood Forest. He also had many talents including singing, designing and drawing. He loved God, his family, Fort Collins, the Rams, Music, the Military and the USA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Perla. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Ann, and their daughters Alexa and Ava (fiancé Garrett). He is also survived by his first wife, Sara Nelson and their children, Paul (Alicia), Claudia (Michael), Kurt (Martha), and their grandchildren, Zachary, Joshua, Matthew, Paul and Sara, and his siblings, Oscar, Delilah, Ana, Laura, and Rosalia.
A beautiful and spirited soul…never to be forgotten.
