Paul Sitzman

Paul Ronald Sitzman, a lifetime resident of Fort Collins, passed on Monday, September 3, 2012, at the age of 68. Paul was born on September 7, 1943, to John and June Sitzman. He is survived by his loving son, Mark E. (Luann) Sitzman and his loving daughter, Suzanne L. Sitzman-Ieler (Rick leler), both of San Diego, California. He is also survived by his sister, Charlotte Sitzman Mullen of Ocala, Florida, granddaughter, Elizabeth Sitzman, great granddaughter, Mikayla, great grandson, Kayden, his nieces, Lorna Powell, Kathy Svoboda and Julie Brigham and nephew, Guy Sitzman. After graduating from Fort Collins High School, Paul served in the Army in Le Mans, France. He worked for the Larimer County Sheriff's Office for a number of years, was a car salesman and most recently as a security guard for Securitas USA. Preceding Paul in death were his parents and his two brothers, Richard and Bill, and nephew, Robert Robinson. Paul was an outdoorsman with a love of the mountains, fishing and hunting and an avid Denver Broncos fan. He was loved by many and will be missed by all of us. A service in celebration of Paul's life will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, September 13, 2012, at the First Presbyterian Church, 531 South College Avenue, Fort Collins. A reception to follow at 7:00 pm.
