Phyllis A. Kimsey

Phyllis Ann Kimsey, 93, of Fort Collins, CO passed away on August 26, 2025. She was born on May 6, 1932 in Garavillo, IA, and she was 1 of 12 children. She married Lawrence O. Kimsey, of Sioux City, IA, on May 4, 1953. They were married for 70 years. Larry and Phyllis raised five sons, Dennis, Dana, Brian, Jeffrey and Paul Kimsey. Phyllis retired from the Mortgage Loan Department of FNBO, and was a member of St. Jude's Society. Our family lost a motherly spirit but Heaven gained a beautiful soul. Phyllis is survived by her five sons, four grandchildren, Brandy, Brooke, Brandon, and Blake, and five great-grandchildren, Morgan, Preston, Ethan, Saylor, and Archer.

Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 11:30 a.m., Friday, September 12, 2025 at Saint John XXIII Catholic Church in Fort Collins with Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 12:00 p.m., followed by a reception at the Church. Interment will take place at a later date at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver.
