Sue Tucker, age 76 of Fort Collins died March 14, 2010 at a local care & rehab facility. Cremation will be conducted and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 Wednesday, March 17th at Faith Evangelical Free Church. Her cremated remains will be buried at Grandview Cemetery following the service. Pricilla Mary "Sue" Street was born April 29, 1933 in Windsor, Connecticut to Orman Elery Street and Mary Kent Street. The family moved to Lancaster, PA in 1939 where they lived until 1949. She graduated from high School in Beltsville, Maryland and in 1955 graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Latin American Studies. After graduation she began working in Washington D.C. at the Voice of America Agency. It was there she met the love of her life, Bill. They were married July 18, 1959. In 1961, Bill began his career in Foreign Service. He and Sue were assigned to several challenging posts. After Bill's retirement in 1975, they began a life of leisure moving to California and then to Colorado. Sue's interests included hiking with her friends and competing on the tennis court or in a ping pong tournament. She was known for her delicious cooking, marvelous pies and her "whole face" lovely smile. Bill died in 2007 after 48 years of marriage. Sue is survived by her sister, Margaret "Emmy" Lear of Beltsville, MD; her step-children, Walter (and Olga) Tucker of Loveland, CO and Cassandra (and Dave) Antkowiak of Walnut Creek, California; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Toby and her sister, Patti.
