Quin Morrison, age 77, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 in Pathways Hospice Care in Fort Collins, Colorado. He was surrounded by several family members. He was born November 17, 1938 in Homewood, Illinois to Arthur and Selma (Lentz) Morrison.
He developed a passion for broadcasting early in life, which he followed after graduating from Thornton Township High School in 1956. He was drafted into the Army from 1962-1964 and was stationed in North Carolina. After he finally settled in Windsor, Colorado in 1969, where he helped build many radio stations including KUAD. For the next 40+ years he continued to work in radio stations from Cheyenne, WY to Denver, CO. He was always willing to help fix something music or broadcast related.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Deborah; children, Michael, Kevin (Carrie), Christina (Brandon), Cathrine, Chelsea, and Craig; grandchildren Paula, Kelly, Cody, Brittany, and Dezmond; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on January 8th, 2016 at 11;00 AM at Bethel Lutheran Church, 328 Walnut Street, Windsor, CO. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to help cover end of life costs at: www.gofundme.com/QuinMorrison .
