Rachel Stirn

We wish for our children great things, to have success as they grow and to become adults, to have joy and to share love with others. We hope never to outlive them. Our beloved daughter, Rachel Caroline Stirn, indeed filled her 29 years abundantly. She was born on November 18, 1982, our first daughter. We loved her immensely and know the warmth of that love surrounds her spirit now. Her life ended on June 7, 2012 after suffering an epileptic seizure. Rachel loved and was loved by many. She had two sons with her soul mate, Brian Gorham. She is survived by Brian and their children, Orion and Coda Gorham; her parents, Peg and Craig Stirn; her sisters, Betsy Rush and Emily Stirn; Betsy's children, Elise and Drake Rush; Brian's parents, Judy and Gene Gorham; her maternal grandmother, Meta Wendelken; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her close friend Clint Guthrie . She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to help fulfill Rachel's dream of sending her children to college. A scholarship fund has been established at Wells Fargo Bank. Please join us as we celebrate the life of our precious daughter, Saturday, June 16 at 7pm in the Gardens on Spring Creek, 2145 Centre Avenue, Fort Collins. Please dress casually and bring a picnic blanket or lawn chair.
