Ralph Fuller

Oct 18, 1942 — Oct 24, 2025

Ralph Fuller of Fort Collins, Colorado passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025. Ralph was raised in Fort Morgan Colorado where he spent time with his many aunts, uncles and cousins on family farms creating memories that he enjoyed recounting throughout his life. Ralph met Beth Huey in school. Junior Prom was their first date. He graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1960 and went to Mesa Community College on a basketball scholarship. In 1962 he received a scholarship at the University of Colorado where Beth was a student; his basketball team made it to the Elite Eight twice. He graduated in 1967 with a Bachelors in Business Administration. He married Beth and began working for Union Carbide which saw them move to various cities across the Midwest as they started a family. He left this job to raise his family in Colorado. Ralph began looking for opportunities to start his own business. It was at this time that he began his early involvement in Jiffy Lube and settled the family in Fort Collins.

Ralph's parents divorced when he was two. He and his brother were raised by their mother. This caused some difficult times for his family with many moves and school changes in a short period of time, but it also gave Ralph a strong work ethic. He fully embraced his role as a dad and was an amazing, loving, and supportive parent. He loved gardening, road trips, movie nights, decorating for holidays, coaching kids basketball teams, and was always up for baking a batch of cookies or brownies with his kids and granddaughters.

Ralph is survived by his children, Sam Fuller of Lakewood (m. Tim Belanger), and Sarah Elsen of Corte Madera California (m. Corbett) and his brother Richard Fuller of Pursellville, Virginia, along with his beloved grand children, Finley, Harper, and Dempsey Elsen. He was preceded in death by Beth, his wife of 54 years.

Ralph gave back to his community through his volunteer work at the Larimer County Health Van and Food Bank. Anyone who wishes to honor his memory would be welcome to donate to a local food bank.
