Rebecca "Becky" (Critelli) Irwin, age 76, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026, in Fort Collins, Colorado. Born on May 2, 1949, in Highland Park, Michigan, she lived a life marked by dedication to family, community service, and creative pursuits.
Becky was the beloved wife of the late Charles H. Irwin and daughter of the late Joseph J. Critelli and Virginia I. (Portwood) Critelli. Throughout her life, she was known for her warmth and generosity, touching the lives of many with her kindness and unwavering support.
She is lovingly remembered by her son Brett Irwin and his wife Tawnia Irwin; her stepdaughter Karen Irwin; and her stepson Charles B. Irwin and his girlfriend Pattie Culberson. Becky also shared a close bond with her sisters Kathleen Owen and her husband Coy Owen, as well as Constance Fitzpatrick and her husband Eldon Fitzpatrick.
A devoted sister, mother, grandmother, and wife, Becky found joy in nurturing relationships with those around her. She was blessed with many friends who cherished her vibrant spirit and compassionate heart.
Professionally, Becky worked as a bookkeeper for some time—a role that reflected her attention to detail and strong work ethic. Beyond her career, she dedicated herself to community involvement. She was a longtime volunteer at Moose Lodge #275 and an active member of Elks Lodge #804. Her leadership extended to the golf course as well; she served as past president of the City Park Nine Women's Golf Association.
Becky had a passion for crafts and painting, often expressing herself through creative projects that brought beauty into everyday life. An avid golfer, she enjoyed spending time outdoors on the green with friends who shared her enthusiasm for the game.
A memorial service celebrating Becky's life will be held on February 22nd at 1:00 PM at the Fort Collins Elk Lodge, 1424 E. Mulberry Street, Fort Collins, CO 80524. Please RSVP to 970-393-2844 or 970-988-2936.
