Richard Allen Watts, 79 of Fort Collins lost his battle with cancer, Monday, June 6, 2016. He passed quietly and softly surrounded by loved ones.
He was born to Charles B. and Dorthy E. Watts in Lovell, Wyoming on August 30, 1936. Richard grew up in the small town of Bryon, Wyoming with three brothers and two sisters. Richard's career began in 1955 working for Mountain Bell Telephone Company. He retired from what became Centurylink in February 1990. In addition to his time spent with family, Richard had many passions in life: Coaching youth baseball, Rockies and Bronco games and reading about History. Richard was an avid golfer and loved being on the golf course with his sons. Richard had a bright spirit and loved to smile and laugh with friends and family.
Richard is survived by his wife of 60 years, Harleen (Reeves) Watts, sons, Craig and Derek and six grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Veda IIg, Worland Wyoming, and brothers, Carl Watts, Byron, Wyoming and Ralph Watts, Adel, Iowa.
