Robert "Bob" Edelman, age 80, of Fort Collins passed away peacefully on the morning of December 4, 2023.
Bob was born in Brooklyn, New York to parents Rose Soven and Sam Edelman. Bob received his bachelor's degree in accounting from New York University School of Business. He served in the army from 1968-1970 and was stationed in California and later Okinawa. In 1988 Bob married Eileen Caspary.
Bob worked as a CPA in New York and New Jersey before retiring in 2005 and moving to Fort Collins, Colorado.
Bob was extremely active in the old car hobby. He was a member of Vintage Car Club of America, Antique Automobile Club of America, Horseless Carriage Club and Vintage Chevrolet Club of America. He served on the board of VMCCA as national Treasurer from 2006 to 2019 and was awarded an honorary life membership.
He leaves behind his wife, Eileen Edelman, his sister, Deborah Markow, his son Bradley Edelman, Brad's wife Teli Thayer and their children Zoe Edelman, and Cooper Edelman.
