Robert (Bob) Charles Klick (62) of Fort Collins, Colorado passed away December 17, 2019 while visiting family in California. He was born in Northridge, California to parents, Charles and Ila Mae with sisters, Christine and Claudia. Proud of his upbringing while developing his entrepreneurial spirit, he worked as a window-washer paying his tuition through college. After graduation from Cal State Northridge he became a CPA. He met the love of his life Desiree on a blind date and they married in November of 1987. They were blessed with two sons Bruce and Bronson. God guided their path to Everett, Washington where Bob became a partner in a CPA firm. Bob was a Rotarian in Lynnwood, Washington and served as club president sharing his passion for the Rotary community outreach projects.
In 2000, the family moved to Fort Collins, Colorado to join a CPA partnership and in 2005, Bob formed Klick and Associates. One of his greatest honors was to be named Rotarian of the year in the Fort Collins Breakfast Rotary Club. Over the years, Bob saw his sons grow into awesome men and he was so proud of their maturity and endeavors. He worked hard for his clients, enjoyed playing golf with many friends, writing poetry, watching college/NFL and running a football pool. He looked forward to Sunday family dinners and searching for bunnies with his beloved granddaughter, Addilynn Grace. Bob loved his country and was a patriot. He honored those who served. As a family, we enjoyed many vacations to Sun River, Oregon, trips to California to see his family, Hawaii, Mexico, Washington DC. and many other fun trips with dear friends.
After moving to Colorado, friends invited our family to Faith Church, where Bob renewed his commitment to Christ as his personal Savior. In May of 2018, he publicly professed his faith in Jesus when he was baptized in the Jordan River on a tour of Israel.
He had a blessed life but he was not without struggles. He died in his sleep and cause of death has not yet been determined. Most importantly, Bob was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle, neighbor, trusted advisor and friend. We knew Bob as a good man with a big heart for people, a large personality, a love for telling stories, and a zest for life. He will be greatly missed in all our lives! May we never forget! We can rest assured that one day we will see Bob again! To God be the Glory! Romans 8:35, 37-39
