Robert Milford Ryan

Robert M. Ryan passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016 in Ft. Collins, Colorado. He was born February 5, 1928 in Columbus, NE to Michael David and Julia Ryan. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Dick Ryan, and his wife, Sue Ryan. He is survived by his long-time companion, Muriel Whiting; children and spouses, Peggy and Bill Krauser, Bob and Brenda Ryan, Jennifer and John Riccio, and Katherine Anne Ryan; and 7 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.

He was a World War II veteran who served in Japan and a Colorado A&M (CSU) graduate of Civil Engineering. A few high points of his life included: Eagle Scout, being a member of the Colorado Mountain Club, working as a ski patrol member, was an avid sailor when he lived in Florida, and worked as a National Parks Volunteer at RMNP.

A graveside service will be held Friday, June 3rd at 12:30 at Crown Hill Mortuary, and Cemetery, Staging Area B Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
