Roger (RJ) Lee Mondragon Jr., 31, of Fort Collins passed away on March 18, 2022, in his home among family.
RJ was born in Fort Collins, CO to Roger Lee Mondragon Sr. and Angela Louise Hewitt on December 24, 1990. He grew up in Fort Collins with his sisters Desiree and Kayla. RJ had a special angel helping him to grow up responsibly, his favorite Aunt Rebecca Zamora. In his teens, RJ became a part of Rebecca's family and she loved him like her own son. Together they tackled how to do a checking account and pay rent and bills in a timely manner. He impressed Rebecca by taking her serious and continued to practice her teachings.
Curious and creative, he was always inventing something new. RJ worked diligently to assist people with special needs. He dedicated a lot of his time bringing awareness to public servants regarding communication difficulties for persons with Autism, ADHD and others health issues. RJ was incredibly invested in helping others and throughout his life dreamed of being a police officer and even worked as a superhero around town. RJ had a calling with electronics and was eager to help anyone with their cell phones and computers. His unwavering Christian faith guided him each day. His sense of self inspired others.
Roger is survived by his Father, Roger Lee Mondragon Sr. of Fort Collins, CO, Mother, Angela Louise Hewitt of Denver, CO, siblings, Desiree Moore of Rochester, NY and Kayla Mondragon of Fort Collins, CO, and 4 nieces and 1 nephew.
