Ron Calhoun, age 71 of Loveland, formerly of Ft. Collins died May 27, 2010. He was born March 21, 1939 in Omak, Washington to Lowell and Mabel Calhoun. He met and married Joan Young in Concordia, Kansas where he also served in the National Guard for 6 years. They moved to Ft. Collins in 1975. He was a plumber for 48 years and owned and operated Ron's Plumbing in the late 1980's through the 1990's. They moved to Las Vegas for a few years and back to Loveland in 2006. Mostly, Ron was a fisherman. A fan of the Broncos and Rockies, he preferred fishing. He is survived by Joan, his wife of 50 years; three children, Steven Calhoun of Loveland, Julie (and Tom) Gallegos of Loch Buie, CO and Craig (and Tammy) Calhoun of Ft. Collins; his sisters, Barbara (and Bert) Chatfield of Lincoln, NE and Colleen (and George) Muncy of Springfield, OH; six grand; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Ron's sister, Jeanne Gardner preceded him in death. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 4th at Christ Community Evangelical Free Church, 1301 15th Street, Greeley
