Ronald Charles Zimmerman, 64, died at home with his loving family.
Born in Des Moines, Iowa to Chuck & Judy (Warner) Zimmerman in 1954. They moved to Rochester, MN where Ron graduated from John Marshall High School in 1972. Ron then joined the Air Force just as Vietnam ended. Ron met the love of his life, Lisa Landry, in Bozeman, Montana and they married in 1983.
They began a lifetime of moving and advancing in the world of business in various settings, always with amazing results. His last business venture was running fireworks stores in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He loved his hunting and fishing adventures with treasured friends. He lived life large and tended to favor underdogs – never giving up on the Minnesota Twins!
Ron is survived by his wife Lisa, son Taylor, granddaughters Anastasia and Lillian, all in Fort Collins, his mother Judy, brother Russ, Rochester, MN, sister Robbin (Nita) Warner, Blaine, MN, mother-in-law Marcia Landry, Fort Collins, siblings-in-law Mark & Julie Landry and Pamela Teichman.
Ron was preceded in death by his father Chuck, and father-in-law Don Landry.
Honoring his wishes, there will be no service. Memorials may be made to Larimer County Humane Society, Meals on Wheels or a charity of your choice.
