Rose Marie Wojnar

Rose Marie Wojnar passed away in her home in Timnath, CO, on October 11 from complications that arose after a surgery earlier in the week, at the age of 61.

Rose was born on December 10, 1964, in Farmington, MN, to parents Leon and Carol Flach (Ostertag). She completed her primary schooling and graduated from the School of Associated Arts in St Paul, MN in 1986, after which she began to work at Honeywell as a Technical Illustrator. After moving to Colorado, Rose contributed to numerous craft fairs, taught sewing classes, and volunteered as a grade-school teacher’s assistant. She went on to start her own business, Creative Impressions, which later evolved into EverythingQuilts, Inc, which was open for 24 years and became a premier online retailer for sewing hobby supplies before it closed with her retirement at the start of 2023.

Rose was preceded in death by parents Leon Flach and Carol Flach (Ostertag), and by her brother David Flach.

Rose was a devoted mother, loving sibling, and a doting aunt whose family was the heart of her life. She is survived by her husband, Michael Wojnar, and her son, David M. Wojnar, and her brother Donald Flach and his wife Diane, and her brother George Flach and his wife Robyn.

A woman of immense warmth and fierce resolve, Rose was an anchor that held her family together through all seasons of life. She possessed a brilliant, sharp mind paired with a delightfully playful spirit. As an avid quilter and artist, Rose had a natural gift for piecing things together; not just with her collection of fabrics, but with the people she loved. Her connections with a wide circle of friends and family wove a warm, supportive community. Her absence leaves an undeniable void in the lives of everyone who knew her, though the beautiful pattern of her life will remain in our hearts forever.

A Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, located at 1250 7th St. Windsor, Colorado 80550, at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 23 2026. There will be a brief visitation and Rosary before the mass at 10:30 a.m., and following Mass a reception will be held in the parish hall.
