Rosel Josephine Sersante

Rosel "Ro" Sersante, 61, of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away on August 16, 2019.

Rosel was born in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Donald and Betty Sersante. She graduated from North High School in Denver.

She is survived by her husband, Dave Thomas; her sister, Laura Sersante, and brother-in-law, Doug Metcalfe; her sister-by-choice and best friend, Jill O'Brian; her cousin-in-law and close friend, Chris Gonzales; her goddaughter and cosmic twin Sammy Morris; and many other friends and family members.

Rosel is preceded in death by her parents and her previous husband, Rick "Gonzo" Gonzales.

Rosel had a huge heart and generous spirit. She was an organ donor, and her gift has helped many people. One of her favorite charities was a women's shelter. Family Tree is an organization that helps people overcome child abuse, domestic violence and homelessness. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 7, from 3-6 p.m., on the upstairs patio of C.B. & Potts Restaurant & Taproom, 195 East Foothills Parkway (The Shops at Foothills), Fort Collins, Colorado.
