Russell Jorgenson

Russell Wayne Jorgenson, 64, of Fort Collins, CO, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. Russell was born in Hawley, MN to Doris (Dolva) and Clayton Jorgenson. Russell was an extremely skilled and board-certified electrician who received high marks at every position he held. He was the owner of Colorado Control Systems. He played an integral part bringing stories to videos for the "Hawley Then & Now" Facebook page. Russell will be remembered for his great sense of humor and having the best "dad jokes". A Celebration of Life will be held in Hawley, MN in June 2023. Information will be provided on the "Hawley Then & Now" Facebook page when details are determined. Russ is survived by his children Ken, Mike, and Ashley Jorgenson; mother, Doris Jorgenson; former spouse, Kathy Jorgenson; brother, Roger Jorgenson; grandchildren, Breckyn, Broderick, Baylor, Britton, Everett, Ainslie, Lilly, and Henry; and friend, Jeff Anders; with a special thank you to Ryan and Andrea Kragerud and Dion and Taia Dolva, for your selfless and unconditional love for Russ. He was preceded in death by his father, Clayton Jorgenson.
