Ruth Joanne Kyle passed away on July 31, 2018 at 92 years old surrounded by her loving grandchildren.
Ruth was born and raised in Colorado. She also lived many years in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She spent most of her career working as an Executive Secretary at Mountain Bell (US West/CenturyLink) and retired from the phone company in 1984.
She is survived by her grandchildren Lance (Su) Hagans of Fort Collins, CO; Lonni (Don) Buerger of Loveland, CO and Cindy (Craig) Habermehl of Fort Collins, CO; six great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; her niece, Priscilla Kendall of Aurora, CO and several loved nephews.
She is preceded in death by her late husband Oliver Kyle; her only daughter, Caroline McArthur and her brother William Howes.
In her early retirement years, Ruth enjoyed traveling, water aerobics, vegetable juicing and long walks with her daughter. She loved animals, especially dolphins; her Pomeranian, Tuffy, and her two sweet finches.
For most of her adult life, Ruth was always taking care of others. As her grandchildren, we were honored to return the favors and take care of her.
The family will hold a private service. Inurnment will be at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
