Sally Ramsey passed to Heaven on Monday, January 6, 2025, after four years of graciously living with challenging health obstacles. Sally was born in Jacksonville, Illinois to parents Gailerd and Charlotte (Furness) Jones. She lived her school years in Beardstown, Illinois before moving their family to Fort Collins, Colorado in 1972.
In September 1957, two months after graduating high school, she married her high school sweetheart, Bob Ramsey. He helped her climb out of the window in the middle of the night, and they drove to Arkansas and wed. That was 67 years ago, and they remained best friends ever since. If only everyone could have a spouse and caretaker like Bob.
Sally is survived by her husband of 67 years, Bob Ramsey of Fort Collins; sister Sue Reynolds (Jim) of Danville, KY; daughters Lauri (Norris) Jones of Fort Collins and Lisa Ratterree of Cheyenne, WY; grandchildren Bobby Ratterree (Lara) of Laramie, WY, Caroline Ratterree of Colorado Springs, CO, and Sydney Jones (Alyssa) of Thornton, CO; and great-grandchildren Graham Ratterree of Laramie, WY and Autumn and Wyatt Farber of Thornton, CO.
In Sally's memory and spirit in which she lived, we ask you to follow Jesus' command to love one another.
At Sally's request, no public services are planned.
