It is with deep heartbreak that I share that Sam has passed away after his long and courageous battle with non‑Hodgkin's lymphoma.
He leaves this world just shy of his milestone birthday of 50 years old. Something he had been striving towards.
Sam lived life with a rhythm all his own. A self-taught musician, an avid surfer, and a seeker of every adventure he could find, he filled his days with movement, curiosity, and soul. If there was a wave to catch, a beat to play, or a new horizon to chase, Sam was already there, already captured the moment with his artful eye and taken 3 selfies.
He adored our dogs, Primo and Bowie, who were never far from his side, the company of family and the love for me, his wife, with a devotion that shaped every part of his journey. Our bond was the heart of his world.
While the grief is heavy, I take comfort in knowing that Sam's spirit — bold, creative, joyful, and endlessly alive — will continue to echo in the memories he gave all of us and the music he leaves behind.
Thank you to everyone who supported him, loved him, and walked beside him. His story will be carried forward through all of us
