Sharon Lee Schoeninger Viney, 65 of Ft. Collins, CO died peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, February 1, 2009 at Poudre Valley Hospital. Sharon was born December 2, 1943 in Denver to Oscar and Natalie Brownlee. She grew up in the Globeville section of Denver and attended North High School in the class of 1961. She worked as a Scrub Nurse at Mercy Hospital in Denver before she moved to Fort Collins 35 years ago. She was a loving and kind mother as well as an unselfish and compassionate person. She sang with the Sweet Adenines; enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren; playing bingo; and was very good working with her arts and crafts. She will be missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her two sons, John (Deanna) Schoeninger and Dan (Paula) Schoeninger, both of Ft. Collins; her daughter, Alicia Viney of Red Feather Lakes; two step-sons, Kevin (Carol) Viney of Ft. Collins and Toby Viney of Sterling; her first husband, John Schoeninger of Wheat Ridge; 15 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Sharon was preceded in death by her Mother Natalie; Father Oscar; Brother, Leo; and second husband Duane Viney. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, February 6th at Unity Church of Fort Collins, 1401 West Vine, and Ft. Collins. Interment at Grandview Cemetery. Visitations will be Friday at the Unity Church, at 10:00am.
