Sheryl Casper, age 73 of Wellington, CO, went home to the Lord on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 after a brief illness.
She was born on May 25, 1952 in North Platte, IN, a daughter of the late George Esper Casper and Nellie Jean Park Casper.
For over 38 years, Sheryl served the USDA/NRCS Federal Government as an IT Specialist Information Security Officer. She knew everything and was always there to help anyone. She held several awards for her service with USDA. She loved every moment with her family she made there.
Through her journey of a short 73 years, she touched many lives with her playful sense of humor, her unapologetic, fearless attitude, and her unforgettable laugh — especially her laugh. It was the best part of her.
Sheryl is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Brattain and Andrew Brattain, and her grandchildren Ethan Brattain and Kennedi Brattain of Wellington, CO. She is also survived by her sister, Karen Casper of Indianapolis, IN.
Her Celebration of Life is still to be determined at this time. Please reach out to Jennifer via text if you'd like details once arranged at 970-308-3982.
