On Wednesday March 18th, 2020, Shirley Rose Sims passed away at the age of 63 at Poudre Valley Hospital with both her sons by her side.
Shirley was born April 26th, 1956 in Oregon to Wilbert and Suzanne and moved to Colorado along with her older brother John and younger sister Tracy as a child. She graduated from Rocky Mountain High School and went on to raise two sons, David and Mark.
Shirley was a natural caretaker and worked passionately as a CNA for many years. She loved to shop and could spend hours in a single store. She enjoyed sewing quite a bit and would also spend as much time as she could sun bathing.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and brother John. She is survived by her husband Bill, her sons David and Mark, her sisters Tracy and Carol, and niece Julieta.
Services will be held at a later date due to public concerns of COVID-19.
