Stephen Thomas Collins, 73, of Fort Collins, CO, passed away on January 17, 2025 at Pathways Hospice from a rare genetic disease.
Stephen was born October 16, 1951, in San Francisco, CA to Thomas Francis and Annabelle Marie (Moshofsky) Collins. He was one of four children to siblings Danny, Joel and Colleen Collins. He attended Marin Catholic High School and went on to Sonoma State University in California.
Steve married Sharon Mueller in 2013.
Steve loved to play football and baseball. He also enjoyed hiking, camping, reading and writing. He was one of the quiet heroes; an insightful wag; kept up brotherly wrestling and general silliness all his life.
He is survived by his wife Sharon Mueller; brothers Danny and Joel Collins, and sister Colleen Sakaguchi; a son, Brian and daughter Allison, and stepdaughters Bianca and Isha. He has one grandson.
His adopted pets were Dotty and Junebug, but he loved and walked many dogs.
A celebration of life will be held mid-spring 2025.
The family wants to thank Goes Funeral Care and Pathways Hospice for their wonderful supportive care.
