Steven G. Fazekas

Steven G. Fazekas, born December 25th, 1948, passed away peacefully on March 8th, 2026.

Steve proudly served the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam and later the Army National Guard in Wyoming. He completed his undergraduate studies at Bowling Green and went on to spend much of his career in transportation logistics, and later sales. While raised in Ohio, he loved the CO outdoors skiing, camping, and running (the latter of which he successfully passed onto his daughter). Otherwise he could usually be found giving people a hard time (of course with a smile), or occasionally enjoying a good Hungarian meal. As a proud father he was always just a phone call away.

He is preceded in death by parents Dora and Steven Fazekas, uncle Agoston Fazekas, and brother Thomas Fazekas. He is survived by his loving daughter Sarah (Steve Masnyk), grandson Michael, brother Alex Fazekas (Ruth). Loving uncle of Valerie (David), Jocelyn (Dave) and granduncle to Samuel, Alex and Jack.

There will be a reception held in his honor at 10am on Saturday, March 21st at the Courtyard by Marriott (6106 Sky Pond Dr in Loveland – Barnesville Room). The family invites all who knew him to attend and share their favorite memories.
