Born on February 27th, 1954, Steven was a quiet and thoughtful man who found comfort in simplicity. He had a deep appreciation for reading and the outdoors, often drawn to the calm and reflection they provided. Books and nature offered him a kind of peace that shaped how he experienced the world.

He preferred a slower, more peaceful way of living, one rooted in stillness rather than noise. He was not someone who sought attention but instead carried himself with a quiet presence that felt steady and familiar to those around him. He had a presence that made others comfortable and was a kind soul. He left an impression on the ones that were lucky enough to meet him and have thoughtful conversations with him.

Steven will be remembered for his quiet spirit, his appreciation for life's simpler moments, and the sense of calm he carried with him. Steven had one child, Paul Mace, with whom he spent time camping and hiking during their early years. Those experiences reflected his love for the outdoors and offered a simple way of sharing time together—away from distractions, surrounded by nature. He is survived by his son Paul Mace, wife Lucy Mace, and Grandchildren Logan Mace, Jacob Hui and Paula Refugio. He also leaves behind many close friends and church members that he held close to his heart.
