Steven N. Peterson

Steven Neville Peterson, 60, passed away June 7, 2025, in Ft. Collins. Steven was born in Julesburg, CO on February 23, 1965, and was raised in Ovid, CO. He was the youngest child of a blended family; he often referred to himself as an only child with 9 brother and sisters. After graduating from Revere High School, he attended Adams State College and earned a BA from Colorado State University. He was a proud veteran having served in the US Naval Reserve. Steven worked for Wells Fargo Bank where he was a beloved coworker for 33 years.

Steven enjoyed taking drives and camping in the foothills and around Horsetooth reservoir while spending time with his many friends in Ft. Collins. He was also an avid traveler, always ready to explore new places and sights around the US.

Steven was preceded in death by his father and mother Keith and Caroline (Zimmerman) Peterson; sisters Gayle (Best) McKay and Shelly (Best) Kizer and brother Donn (Jack) Peterson. He is survived by his partner Henry "Trevor" Hollis; sisters JoAnne, Dawn and Kim; brothers Philip, Ken and Mike; his aunt Ilene (Zimmerman) Dye, numerous cousins, nephews and nieces as well as countless friends.

A celebration of life will be held on June 21st, 2025, 2:30 PM at Goes Funeral home in Ft. Collins.
