Sylvia A. Hashaw, 79, passed away on August 19th after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Hancock Bridge, NJ to Howard and Verna Coles.
Sylvia was a loving wife, mother, sister, best friend, artist and adventurer. Sylvia was an avid fisherman, hunter and seamstress.
After high school, she joined the military and met the love of her life, Clyde. They were married in June of 1958 and raised seven children - four sons and three daughters. Their house was filled with laughter.
Upon retirement, Sylvia enjoyed traveling with Clyde in their RV. They had adventures across the United States with some of her favorite stops being historic sites and scenic nature areas.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and older son, Clyde Hashaw, Jr. She is survived by three sons: Dennie (Sally) Hashaw of Riverview FL, Lee Hashaw of Windsor CO and Terry (Marie) Hashaw of Severance CO; three daughters: Diana (Karen) Hashaw of Oldsmar FL, Kathy (Larry) Yardley of Fort Collins CO and Samantha (Joe) Reyes of Virginia City VA; seven grandchildren, one step-grandson, eleven great grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren.
