Teddy Marose, 89, of Longmont, CO passed away on June 1, 2016. Teddy was born on January 16, 1927 in Hoboken, New Jersey to Michael Marose and Mary Marose (Ploumitsakos).
Teddy was raised in Hoboken and attended A. J. Demarest High School. Mr. Marose served in the United States Army for 2 years in Fort Dix, NJ.
Teddy married Cleo Marose (Stephens) on June 11, 1950. They first resided in Hoboken and then moved to Ridgefield New Jersey. Teddy was involved in numerous food business' in his career and later in life in the office cleaning business. Prior to moving to Colorado, Teddy lived in Little Ferry, NJ for 25 years.
Teddy will be greatly missed by his 4 children: son, Michael (Gloria Garcia) of Bogota, NJ; daughter, Marilyn of Lafayette, CO; son, John of Longmont, CO; daughter, Jan (Paul Swiszcz) of Niwot CO; and 5 Grandchildren, Michael Jr. of Texas; Nicholas and David of New Jersey; Peter and Sophie of Colorado. He was the brother of the late James Marose, George Marose and Peter Marose.
Teddy spent the last 3 years of his life in Colorado but he frequently spoke of how much he loved and missed New Jersey. Teddy has been cremated and his ashes will be returned to New Jersey. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
