Terrill Dideriksen passed away peacefully, with his family at his side on October 31, 2023, in Fort Collins. He was 89 years of age.
Terrill Franklin Dideriksen was born on December 30, 1933, in Neola, Iowa. He was one of four children born to Julius and Grace Dideriksen.
Terrill served his country in the United States Army from September 1953 until his Honorable Discharge in September 1955. After service he went on to receive his bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Omaha in 1960.
On April 27, 1963, Terrill was united in marriage to Edie Burkamp in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. They have two daughters Julie and Kristi.
Terrill and Edie settled and raised their family in Longmont Colorado. He worked as an Industrial Engineer at the Rocky Flats Nuclear Facility near Golden for most of his career. After retirement he moved to Torrington Wyoming where he enjoyed ranching, farming, and riding horses.
Terry was an avid hunter and always had a good story or advice to share with family and friends.
Terrill is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers and one sister. Surviving family members include his loving wife of 60 years, Edie, and daughters Julie and Kristi (husband John) and four grandchildren.
