Theodore "Chip" Webb

d. May 1, 2023

Fort Collins, Colorado - Theodore S. Webb III, affectionately known as Chip, passed away after an extended illness at the age of 66 on May 1, 2023, in Fort Collins, Colorado. He was born on September 26th, 1956, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Ted and Cuba Webb.

Chip had a brilliant mind and was an accomplished individual. As a National Merit Scholar, he excelled academically throughout his life. He earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from the Michigan State University Lyman Briggs STEM Program, laying the foundation for his successful career as a software engineer. Chip dedicated 20 years of his professional life to Dell, where his contributions were highly regarded, including multiple patents.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Chip had an adventurous spirit and an inquisitive outlook on life. He filled countless notebooks with mathematical equations in his spare time, just as his father had, and was a master at building computers and making puns. He loved playing sports and found solace and joy in the great outdoors, often embarking on camping trips with his family.

Family was paramount to Chip, and he cherished the time he spent with his loved ones. From coaching his daughters' volleyball teams to playful afternoons at the neighborhood park, swimming, and hiking, he always prioritized creating lasting memories. Together, Chip and Martha created a loving home and built a beautiful family.

Chip is survived by Martha and their adoring daughters, Caroline, Laurel, and Juliana Webb. He is also survived by his beloved mother, Cuba Webb, and his caring sister, Kelly Hulme (Thom) and niece, Marin. He was predeceased by his father Ted Webb.

In honor of Chip's love for the outdoors, the family suggests that donations be made to the World Wildlife Fund or any outdoor related non-profit organization. Your support will help preserve the natural beauty that brought him so much joy.

Chip Webb's warm smile, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for his family and the world around him will be dearly missed. May his adventurous soul rest in peace. We miss you, Cheepaw.
