Thomas Carter Busby "Buzz", died unexpectedly on December 30, 2022 at his residence in Loveland, Colorado. He was 67 years old. The family is deeply saddened by his sudden death.
Tom was born in Garnett, Kansas to Charles "Sam" and Milruth "Milly" Busby on May 1, 1955. He grew up with two older brothers Chuck and Steve Busby. Tom attended Garnett High, Estes Park High and graduated from Olathe North in Kansas. His academic career culminated in a Business degree from Kansas State University.
Tom is survived and missed by his loving wife of 35 years, Karol Busby. He is also survived and remembered lovingly by his children Rob (Sarah) Dore and Jennifer Dore; and siblings Chuck (Kathy) Busby and Steve (Shelly) Busby. Tom leaves behind his nephews Jeff (Alex Dang) Busby and Scott (Megan) Busby; niece Sara (Al) Ralston; great nieces Nora and Olivia; and great nephew Quinn.
Tom enjoyed exploring nature by biking and kayaking. He also loved feeding the birds, rabbits and squirrels in his backyard, providing the family with endless entertainment. He additionally loved spending time with his cats Niki and Kobi. Most of all his love for music was his lifelong passion. He attended concerts and enjoyed listening to the classics every day.
Celebration of Life will be held in Summer 2023.
