Thomas Frank Dreher, Jr. passed away suddenly at his home on November 2, 2008 after a brief battle with metastatic cancer. He was born on October 23, 1945 to Thomas F. and Ruth Dreher in Memphis, Tennessee where his father was stationed in the U.S. Navy. After World War II was over and Tom, Sr. was released from the service, the family returned to Fort Collins, Colorado where Tom and his sister, Carol and his brother, Ron grew up and attended school. Tom graduated from Fort Collins High School, and then served a tour of duty in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1967. Tom completed an auto repair certification course at Aims Community College and worked as a mechanic for most of his life. He recently retired from GoldCo in Loveland, CO. He married Deborah Norris in 1982 and was the proud and loving father of three children, Jennifer Barton of Orem, Utah, Aaron and his wife Jennifer Johnson of Greeley, and Courtney Dreher of Windsor. He enjoyed and delighted in his three grandsons, Jared and Matthew Barton and Charles Johnson. Tom is survived by his children, Jennifer, Aaron, and Courtney, his grandsons, his former wife, Deborah Dreher, his brother, Ron of Fort Collins, his sister Carol and her husband John Doughty of Parkersburg, West Virginia, aunt Dorothy Dreher of Fort Collins, his niece and nephew, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas, his mother, Ruth, and his step-mother, Mary Dailey Dreher. A private memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Goes Funeral Care, 3665 Canal Drive Suite E. Fort Collins, CO.
