Timothy Buttke

Timothy John Buttke passed away in Loveland, Colorado on June 15, 2024. The youngest of 3 siblings, Tim was born in Bay Shore, New York on September 26, 1956. In 1972, Tim moved with his father and stepmother to Frisco, North Carolina where he graduated from high school. Tim's natural gifts as an artist were recognized while he was in high school and in addition to selling some of his drawings and paintings, he had many of his drawings published in the school yearbook. After graduation from high school, Tim moved to Mount Vernon, New York. While there Tim worked in general construction and took classes at the Student Art League in Manhattan. Two of Tim's drawings done while at the Student Art League were subsequently published in a book. After retiring from construction, Tim moved to Johnstown, Colorado to be closer to good friends. Unfortunately, shortly after his arrival in Colorado, Tim required prolonged medical care. Thankfully, his dear friend, Susan, was there to provide much needed help, support and love. Tim is survived by an older sister, Maureen, an older brother, Thomas, a nephew, Christopher and nieces Tammy, Kristin and Kimberly.
